How Far I'll Go

Image
This blog entry may be personal, but this entry has a tip and message too! Enjoy! Since I was in 4th grade I've always been curious on how airplanes work. When I reached 6th grade, that was the time that I realized that I really wanted to become an airplane pilot. My aunt is an airplane pilot too and because of that, I even got more curious on how she handles the passengers and the airplane itself. At the same grade, we had our career guidance and I dressed up as an airplane pilot. I got my costume from a real airplane pilot which is my aunt who worked at the Philippine Airlines (I think she worked for PAL for three years)    The costume is just the bonus part there, but standing in front of your batch mates with your dream is the most satisfying thing I can remember. I think that one of the best things about being a teenager is that you can decide and plan your future.  Even though I am sure of my future, some would make my head think t...

Perks of being an OC Instagrammer

Image
Instagram has been popular throughout the years, and it's where new discoveries happen too.  Having a clean and unique feed is a must, but it's hard specially when you're an "IG perfectionist". Since I have been away from my blog, this is The perks of being an OC instgrammer! For me, being an OC Instagrammer is an illness that you can get easily. Here are its signs to find out if you're one of the OC group too!  1. Post then delete. Usually, I post a photo on Instagram and love it for about a week or two, but when time comes, I delete my photo and eventually restart my feed again. It sucks because I work hard on flatlays, yet erase it.  2. The "never posted" Photo. Yup, I take around 20 photos for an ootd or a flatlay. When I look at the pictures, I cannot post them because it's not clean enough for the feed. What I do is delete 19 photos and stare at that saved photo and contemplate whether to post it or not. At the end of...

20 habits of happy people you should adopt in 2016

Image
While reading some of my favorite blog posts, an article from Brandmentalist came across my petite screen and I find it so inspirational, so I thought that I would share this article to you. This is 20 habits of happy people you should adopt in 2016.  1. Forgive more. The Buddha once said, Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned. Remember everyone is fighting their own battle, and everyone is trying their best. Learn to forgive other people and set yourself free. 2. Meditate daily. Meditation is a beautiful way to still your mind – giving you a break from circling thoughts, worries and anxieties. Start with two minutes a day and build your way up to longer sittings. 3. See the world as awe-inspiring. Imagine if you woke up this morning and saw the world around you for the first time. You would be absolutely amazed, fascinated and excited. Start seeing the world throug...

HANDLING A HECTIC SCHEDULE

Image
From the title itself, I that you already have a clue for this blog entry. Handling a busy schedule has never been easy. I will always get tempted by things and even procrastinate until the day ends not knowing that you didn't have a productive day. Today, I have some tips for you guys on how to handle a hectic schedule. Enjoy!   HAVE A PLAN. They say the early bird gets the worm. I say the early bird gets to plan their day (not nearly as catchy). Wake up 20 minutes earlier than you normally would and map out your day. You’re not making yourself any “less busy”, but you’re mentally preparing for what lies ahead. This alone makes the day much easier to manage as it comes around. STOP PROCRASTINATING AND GET TO WORK. Resting for 10-15 minutes isn't that bad, but when you get tempted by things around you, you'll never finish your work on time. I suggest that you should detach yourself with your phone or any gadgets to avoid opening your social medias (e.g. t...

HOW TO MAKE YOUR IG FEED AND PHOTOS BETTER

Image
I know some of you would ask 'what filter?' or 'how to capture beautiful photos?' well maybe I can help you with that. -CAPTURE A GREAT PHOTO By doing that, you should controll yourself to make sure that your hands are not shaking while taking the photo because if you do, you're not gonna be satisfied of what you captured. Need to look at the brightness of the photo too. If you're taking photos under the heat of the sun, you should decrease the contrast. And if it's too dark, maybe you should turn on the flash. Some people use filters to make their photo look better. You can do that too until you're satisfied with you photo. If you're more of a person who expresses their feeling through photos, it's a must to controll the filters on your photo.
